2018 JGP Ljubljana Ladies Free Skate

Whoa, finally they used the ice resurfacing break for something usefull, interview with judge and examples of GOE bullets. Ane they gave Alëna Kostornaia as an example of great execution even TWO times

Alena for those +5 GOEs! That's really an accomplishment considering she is only a junior skater. Yet her quality is recognised. Makes me as a fan happy!! :cheer:

Why is this thread so empty?

I rather enjoyed Ted's explanation of the bullets.

Right, I was wondering the same, where is everyone? :(

Right, I was wondering the same, where is everyone? :(

Finlandia trophy is taking place collaterally.

I'm here just in time for the last two groups. :cheer:

Also spent the past 12 hours writing a play about a sentient box. Yay.

But don't you have to pay to watch it? JGP is free and we have Ted commentary... :(

The are some free streams on youtube. But to be honest, it mostly looks this way, during the last group more comments appear then during previous competition.

BTW Finlandia streams are dead so watching this only for now.

Aurora! I love the music and it was a good program. :)

Aurora is lovely. If she works on her jumps (Ted mentioned that she'd grown a lot since last year), she'll be one of Canada's top ladies in the future. :)

Quite a mist developing.

Growth plus changing coaches. She moved across the country to train with Ravi over the summer, which is pretty obviously a move made in the hopes of being #1 in the future.

Hello all, cheer from the kitchen im the middle of making spicy rice noodles with greens :) :) :)

Can I just ask, Ted, could you please narrate my life?

Wishing her all the best. This really isn't an easy move and we've seen how it can shake skaters up. And Aurora is still very young. But she has lots of time, a great coach and all the goods to make it.

Now I'm getting hungry despite just having eaten... Thanks.

Yeah, he makes everything sound so positive, right?

Paulina's a nice performer, despite her errors. :console:

I love her! She looks so beautiful and her jumps are very pleasing to watch when she lands them. Also really good presentation and choreography!

There is a free russian stream for FInlandia.
Also, there is a russian cup competition going on, with Shcherbakova, Panenkova and Tsurskaya.

Shcherbakova is about to skate btw, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqoY4AkhPps

(sorry for off)

Busy weekend for figure skating fans, it seems.
