Oh gosh I know the scores aren't up yet but I'm nervous for Liza. And I just spotted Mishin in the background.

- Beautiful 3Lz+3T, no problems (+3)
- Nice spiral in the choreo (+3)
- Smooth ride-out on the 2A (+3)
- A little stutter before 3Lo, but fine (+2)
- Great centering on the combo spin (+2)
- Well-landed 3F (+2)
- Alright 2A+2T (+1)
- Fine low positions in the flying sit spin (+2)
- Good 3Lz+2T+2Lo, maybe ! (+2)
- Nice rippon 3S with strong landing (+3)
- Good edging through the footwork, but could have more projection (+3)
- Nice stretch in the final spin (+3)

The ladies are bringing it today! (You hear that guys, do better...) A strong performance from Mai here, just one minor mistake with the 2T instead of the 3T. She was a bit more controlled with her jumps today, so there are in the +2 range more or less instead of the +3 range.

Mai's soft knees will always give me life and her skating will always bring a smile to my face. Given the competition in Japan I think she needs stronger vehicles to stand out

The program isn't doing her any favors. It's like Enya scoring a medieval knights in armor movie. But Mai brought her mojo too!

Time fo me to campaign for Mai alone if I need too....she is such a beautiful skater with technical elements. I really could watch her skate all day. Crazy to think that skate might not be enough for the podium.
