And into the Sudden Death of Juliet Pose. Oy veh.

Let's just say that it was highly unlikely they'd strike gold two years in a row with their FD. But this is really a big step down, and they've been trying to gild the turd, so to speak, all season long. They have SIGNIFICANTLY reworked it for the SGP Final; and they've SIGNIFICANTLY reworked it again for here. But adding some angular arm movements to step sequences here and there doth not make this innovative or a "contemporary take on R&J." And now there is a bigger problem: the first half is all about their power; the second is simply mush. It's a Frankendance.

They do, however, have fantastic skating skills. And one last but: But teams have been catching up to them all season long. Worlds is gonna be a dogfight.

I've been saying all season that they were increasingly vulnerable. Other teams were catching up quick.

Dear Lord, take more time next season to CHOOSE THE RIGHT MUSIC. It makes all the difference.

Score: 127.31 and a SB. Good for them. The audience loved it.

They seem to have all level 4s, but I gotta how come ice dancers can't do lower levels with better execution without been told off like with Madison and Zach, but everyone welcomes the chance +5 gives to single skaters like Jason even though they can't do the hardest content?

Jason gets all level 4s. Jumps aren’t leveled.

I really, really am not a fan of this program. It is such a poor fit for them. It starts off not too badly, with attack and power (their strengths), but the Kissing You section just drones on and on. I actually spaced out while watching this time. They are of course very strong, talented skaters, but I do not think that they should be rewarded with high PCS in the non-SS categories (although I'm sure that they will be).

For me, no, at the beginning there was potential in using Radiohead track and less Kissing you/voiceovers, but well, life happened...

I agree, that was my favorite version. If there is such a thing as a favorite version of this. They kept tinkering but never really found it (unless you ask the judges). I heard "Caught Out in the Rain" a couple of days ago and I hope we see that H/D again soon.

‪Come on, Russia! Reclaim the ice dance throne as a Nation! You gave us the most beautiful performances ever, please do it again!!

This free is like a trashier version of Madison and Zach's program from last year. I kinda love how smutty this is tho.

Will be very interesting to see what kind of scores SB get. Will we have a repeat of the Russia-friendly judging we saw in the pairs event?

I like the changes Madi and Zach have made in their free dance, but that prologue gets me every time. Why? I've been waiting all season to tell you. My daughter came home from school one day all proud of herself for trying out for the cheer squad on a bet. Her tryout was a very peppy rendition of the prologue from R&J. "Twooooooo households, both alike in dignity! In fair...Verona! Where we lay our scene!"
I can't hear it without laughing now.
