yes x10000 to OCS!!! i think it would make such a good show program; she clearly enjoyed it in the beginning of the season so i see no reason she wouldn’t have as much or more fun doing it just for show. she wouldn’t even need to jump. (yes, i am selfishly hoping for the return of the rhinestone suspenders even though i know it was too heavy. sue me.)

you know, if you had asked me pre-russian cup final if i thought she needed to change her combo in the short i would’ve screamed YES from the rooftops considering that prior she had messed up the flip-toe pretty much every time in some form or another, but it seeeeeems like it’s slowly becoming more reliable again even though her flip landing is still very forward and scary sometimes. 😳 sal-loop is my new best friend bc it’s beautiful but it worries me too for different reasons. actually, all of it worries me. so go out and do whatever your heart desires, zhenya — i will be nervously but loudly cheering you on. 😂
 
I like how Zhenya goes from not posting anything on social media for weeks to having 30+ Instagram stories up at once :laugh:

I'm not sure about the -3Lo combo. I like 3s3lo but if she manages to learn 4s I think it would be better for her to do 3Lo-Eu-3s, because if she pops the 4s into a 3s then she could do 3lo-Eu-2s in order not to repeat more triples.

Also IDK if it is worth the risk to do 3F3Lo instead of 3F3T.
 
She rewrote her instagram bio! She put in all her Olympic, Worlds, and Euro medals. I’m so glad she’s proud of her bronze medal even though I believe she deserved silver. It was such an accomplishment especially considering how crowded the ladies’ field was. Probably the most crowded year after Olympics there ever was. Medaling here says a lot about mental strength.

and proud of it she should be!!!! even making the team at all this year was a huge deal, and not only did she thrive, but she even snapped up a medal at the end of the hardest season of her career at the most stacked competition of the season. 😌 beyond bio-worthy, imo. ☺️❤️

Zhenya's new instagram bio! She also just changed her profile picture, I think it's an old photoshoot picture? It looks familiar. I must say, Nike is like the best partnership ever! I'm really impressed she has a global Nike partnership, it's not just limited to Russia. I hope they continue to more stuff in the future. It's good for her but also a good promotion of the sport. If I were a sports-related company, Zhenya would always be my go-to partnership :) She's a great ambassador.

IS she a global ambassador though? It just says nike athlete. tbh I don't know how this all works :shrug:

I think it’s global (she’s on the same Instagram page as Gronkowski (for all the Patriots fans out there) Tiger, Serena, etc.).
 
Crazy idea but what if she makes The Windmills of your Mind into a SP? Or maybe Memory? I know it‘s not going to happen as they’re very exhibition like but maybe she could skate to them again in one of her shows? I‘d love to see them again.
