Never thought I would say this about Olivier, but...I don't know if it's the jacket, the layers or the pattern of the stripes, but that costume actually makes him look a little chunky.
And I know he has a very nice body too.

Midline with unusal low free foot pos on 1st twizzles - twiz & seq matched well / spin with her in catchfoot - not sure if a change of pos / strt lift with him in squat and her extended in front horizontal to ice / music picked up for some plain old dancing / diag steps as music slows a little are very complex and close together / curve lift (that looked strt to me) might have had a mistake when he put his knee down but none of us is sure

The seperation I predicted just now between the Russians, Canadians, Bulgarians away from the French and Americans has already started it looks like.

Yes in ice dancing standards I would say beating a chief competitor by 1.5-2 points in a CD or OD is "crushing" them.

Meaning the Russians, Canadians, and Bulgarians get into a little group close together after this program and the French and the Americans find themselves with some seperation behind the 3.

Sadly with Delobel/Schoenfelder the judges would rather invent a "mistake" then put them on the podium.

The Bulgarians beat the Canadian by 1.56 in the OD, they are 0.02 ahead overall.
