Sorry but I must respond once more.
Ksenia is not the #5 junior "best case scenario". According to the SB list, she is the second best junior, only second to Valieva who isn't even eligible for seniors. And before you say her SB score came from some little JGP, every single junior got to compete at a "little JGP with 50 people watching". I also wouldn't necessarily say that JGP scores are inflated, but if that is your premise, then at all juniors are at least on an equal playing field. That being said, I don't buy your attempt at discrediting her 11th SB score. Every single competitor, junior and senior, had a chance to compete at an inflated event, whether that be a small challenger, or a JGP. And junior events tend to have
lower scoring of components than senior, in addition to the lost element, so its even more impressive that she got to the 11th position at "some small JGP event". There's no getting around the fact that her scores consistently fall amongst the best in the world, and the best in Russia.
Even more important, is that most of the top juniors (top 4 at junior worlds)
aren't eligible to move up to senior next year. So Ksenia is almost undoubtedly the top junior eligible for moving up. The only other top junior lady I can think of eligible to move up is Haein Lee, and Ksenia beat her at the JGPF and on the SB list. Even if you somehow think Haein should be ranked above her, Ksenia is undoubtedly the top Russian junior eligible to turn senior.
But once again I ask,
what Russian lady would you say "deserves" two GP spots over Ksenia other than the top 6?. I can guarantee that there are far less qualified/ talented girls from Russia that have been given 2 spots. Plus, she got 5th at Russian nationals, and 9 Russian skaters can be given 2 spots. That alone should prove that she "deserves" it.
good luck on your Spanish
