The problem is this can once again raise a wave of a s...storm (fill the blanks) against her. As was pointed out, even Anna obviously knows she made a mistake and the score is - little over the top (and it's me who admits thatI've waited 5 long years for my tiny fairy being spoiled by judges, so everybody can suck it.
National champion deserves some favoring in first domestic tourney after half year pandemy break.
You could see in K&C she stays honest to herself anyway.
). Though she would still be in the lead by a huge margin with the score like 77-78.

Anna's jumps have been excessively pre-rotated as always. Just watched them in 0.25 speed. :/

I think even that would be super generous. I think her score should be low 70s.

Looking at the protocols, they called Frolova's Lutz and that's why she lost about 3 points and dropped behind Maiia. Seems like the judges can actually spot an incorrect Lutz and call it but they purposefully ignore Anna's even though both look almost identical. Interesting.

They were clearly under in real time and the loop may have been downgraded on replay. It is a national competition so overscoring and generous calls are fine, but Frolova and the other skaters didn't get that same treatment. Of course, Anna is not to blame for the judging errors. She just skated as well as she possibly could. Her dress was so lovely and her extension and lines look better this year.Both jumps were clearly under on replay, but what can you do
Yes we are finally getting some competition! 
Shcherbakova - as expected she was in a class of her own. But she is a perfectionist and she was NOT happy with that skate. After nailing four 3Lz+3L combos in warm-up, she had a shaky one. But I am loving that the judges are going for her. Her PCS was even one point higher than at RusNats last year. But it's time that Anna got the PCS she deserves imo so I am not complaining.
Khromykh - she has matured a lot this season. But the jumps were a bit shaky. I expect her to keep 2nd place after the free though, she looks strong overall.
Frolova - squeaky clean skate, but she got an ! on the Lutz and a spin was downgraded. I find that there is something "old" about Frolova, she always reminds me of my grandmother. But she looks stronger this season.
Talalaykina - loved to see Maria here. I always had a soft spot for her. And I love this short from last year. < on the combo, but overall surprisingly solid. Hopefully she can hold on to 4th place tomorrow.
The first four girls was new to me, have never seen them before. But some nice surprises there and I was impressed by their skating. I think Molchanova was my favourite, fantastic spins, and apparently she is coached by Urmanov!
I still think that Medvedeva should have been here. Even with a bad skate she would probably have finished 4th-5th. The later Stages will be much more tougher methinks.

With the way they scored Anna, Medvedeva would've certainly been 2nd. They would've given her anything, even a 38 PCS to make it happen.
I don't think that those B(onuses) adds any points though. It is just for show. But she got superhigh GOE on both those spins and the layback was a perfect +5.
Edit: Checked, and I was wrong. She got +2 points for those Bs.

From Anna’s interview : The score is really good,but I'm not happy with my skate . As strange as it may sound, I liked how I skated the entire program except for the final combo. I wasn't nervous at all today, I skated calmly, confidently, tried to do every movement well. but combo did much worse than at the warm up. I am very dissatisfied with this point, after all, this is the main part of my program.Therefore , I would like to skate better next time and avoid such mistakes. I would like to be more satisfied with myself than with my score.

Molchanova was a favorite for me.
I think Evgenia should have been here she'd be in second and probably 3rd overall.

Respect, honor and congratulations to Anna and shame on the judges. In this way, a beautiful sport becomes (once again) a farce and an insult to the athletes.
Anna knows her mistake and don't pay attention to the judges. That is a champions mindset. This is why Anna is such a great competitor.

Anna is so intelligent and eloquent. Those skills will take her far in life, beyond skating.
