No delay. They did group 1 (2 pairs) then the ice resurface. Groups 2 and 3 will go straight through, no icemake.

Can I just say despite the errors (and I know she can land that throw as I just saw her do it in warmup) I think they are quite amazing considering she’s been skating pairs for like 5 minutes? Stuffie!

A rough skate for Katie and Nathan, but considering they're not only new as a team but also she's new to pairs, AND this is their first comp, I think they have a solid start. I'm excited to see where they go.

edit: I've also loved watching Katie as a singles skater for years so I really hope she gets more opportunities in pairs!

Eating my fave Mango Habanero chicken with potato salad. Just realized I not going to have enough potato salad left to get through Men FS tomorrow. Scheming about maybe having some delivered. I think my coughing and runny nose are just standard allergy/asthma in windy weather. But the county I live in is a Covid hot spot so I am self-quarantining just to be safe. Also have fish shaped cheese crackers, nuts, two-bite cupcakes and chocolates.

I'm eating something new to me I picked up at a winery DH and I visited this afternoon -- Whiskey Stix. Pretzel sticks baked in whiskey and other seasonings. Yummy!

It’s their first competition per their statement in K&C. I’m assuming they don’t count the videos as a competition

Who had to withdraw?

3 pairs from Dalilah Sappenfield's training group had to withdraw because someone else in the training group tested positive for COVID. To my knowledge all three of the pairs who withdrew are OK.
