2021 U.S. Nationals: Senior Pairs - Free Skate

In other news is NOOM planning world denomination?

Not only are they all over the figure skating here, their ads are running on Australian TV non-stop! 😳

Don't like that over the head splits move unless the skater can do it as well as Marissa Castelli used to do! I feel like these 2 (Olivia & Mervin) have been together for a while, and it just isn't gelling. A couple of the lifts looked shaky, and even the cardboard people looked nervous!!!...I still want the days of Mervin and Narumi Takahashi!!!!

Do not get me started. I’m having that argument on the main board.

Which one?

Y'all made me crave chocolate. I'm getting a cup of cocoa.

Oh, I haven't had cocoa in a while. I used to get this, soooo tasty.

Skate Radio intrigues me...could you hear the skate blades and music of the skater/s? Or was it just a live rundown of the BOX.
Omg Skate Radio was awesome. They used to hand out the radios at the competition and it was commentary. You had your choice at one time of stations even. You could get Jimmie Santee or someone else. I chose Jimmie. So it was commentary but a tech caller. So he’d call the routine (fall by one. Fall by two. Twist level xx. Spin change of position levei x. Whatever. Just like that). Then they didn’t hand out the radios but you could listen on your phone (even from home). Last year it was completely gone. They lost their sponsor.

Actually, we have Lifesavers in the US, too (don't we make them here?) -- our Smarties are much softer than Lifesavers (which I believe are Polo mints in Britain). U.S. Smarties are just kind of sugar -- I suppose in theory they have a fruit flavor, but it's more just a sugar taste to me. Very, very soft, but not chewy soft, like a tablet, as was said.

We have Lifesavers in a wide variety of flavors that really do taste different. I don't know if other countries have an equivalent to US Smarties.
They're called Rockets here: Rockets
Our Smarties are closer to M&Ms.
