Kostyleva usually gets lvl 2, sometimes rarely 3. Krivonosova sometimes gets 3, others 4.Kostyleva got lvl2 today? I thought she tend to get lvl4...Anyway, I cant’t tell the level from bare eyes, but her edge and flow looks better then Krivonosova, who had two obvious stumble today. Krivonosova definitely has better choreo and expression though, and that helped a lot.
Still I think the difference's quite clear, if I look at them doing the same step sequence in elements:

Kostyleva's probably better at doing the Loop turns, but Krivonosova maintains momentum and control of her upper body far better through other turns, and even though PCS isn't even factored in during elements she can perform seamlessly during the StSq.
It probably misleads a bit that Krivonosova's SP StSq is far more difficult than Kostyleva's, so of course Kostyleva seems more effortless. But take the entry into the Lutz with the rocker and counter by Krivonosova - it's not sure Kostyleva can even do such a thing while maintaining momentum. And Krivonosova makes it look so effortless.
