Gleb is truly far better than what we saw in here and in younger age nationals this season last year he finished 9th it sad to see him kinda getting left behind by his peers level wise, I truly would like for these young skaters to succeed without having to go to moscow or Saint Petersburg but it doesn't seem to be possible rn

Yeah, it's kinda sad that the top two groups with two exceptions are skaters from SPB and Moscow. How many talents get left behind because they don't have the will or means to move away from home to the big cities (often across the whole country)?

the medalist from the girls earlier in this competition come to mind, all from different cities in russia all had to come to Moscow to succeed.
Also Agneta vs Daria Sadkova both from the same rink both had to coach themselves, one got to move to moscow and has really improved rapidly while I truly would consider Agneta the more talented one here.
One of my personal faves Taisiya Korobitsina is also falling into the same issue and starting to get left behind, she had a trial with team tut at some point and preformed at their Kazan show few days ago so maybe she can get a move to moscow.

could be the overlay again they struggled with it a lot yesterday
