Well every athlete under the age of 18 isn't vaccinated if I heard that correctly as there isn't an ok for one of the vaccines to give to people under the age of 18. They are testing sputnik now and it is probable that it will be allowed to vaccine underage people next year. Please correct me if I am wrong here but thats what i read
This is probably true for Russian minors but not for everyone else. At least Phizer have been approved for over 12s for some time now in quite a few countries, EU and US included (not sure whether each and every EU country complies, though). They have recently approved Moderna for over 12s. Not sure about AZ and JJ shots, though, probably are being tested at least.

And there’s the possibility for off label use, at least in my country (=doctors vaccinate e.g. minors before it’s officially authorized, taking full responsibility).

The Music lists for Skate Canada show Alena is not using Sinatra for New York, New York

Alena KOSTORNAIA
SP: "New York, New York (Theme)" performed by Carey Mulligan, Liz Caplan; "New York, New York" performed by Liza Minnelli
FS: "It's a Money" (instrumental);
"Lovely" by Billie Eilish; "Lovely" cover version by Galpe; choreo by Daniil Gleikhengauz, Eteri Tutberidze

And Liza's planned Program Content looks like her Finlandia layout to me-
The first is a pretty snoozy rendition of NY, NY… Frank Sinatra one is much better… fingers crossed for a good mix between the two versions…

Preview of SCI (training footage and interviews) and BTS from SkAm.

I thought the person I responded to meant russian athletes not every athlete around the world. Yes I know for other country's it's available for people and minors. But I was speaking bout russian athletes

You can either get vaccinated or spend 3 wks in quarantine upon arrival. If Team Tut were smart, they would ensure Kamila gets vaccinated too. Neither COVID nor the the olympic organisers are going to make exception for her just because she's 3 years younger
All the others besides alena and Liza are still under 18 years old. So legally if up to the date of the Olympics vaccinating minors is still a no go in Russia then they don't really have a choice do they?Because as I heard right now there isn't a vaccine in Russia that's offically available for people under the age of 18, (again if i heardwrong correct me please) so they actuallyat this point do not even ahve a choice of getting vaccinated or not. Only alyona and liza have that choice at the moment ,

"As for minors, until there is permission from our Ministry of Health to vaccinate minors, this category of athletes will not be vaccinated. The playbook indicates that such cases will be considered individually. But there is an understanding that minors will not be required to sit in quarantine for 21 days. if they are not vaccinated. Basically in this category we have figure skaters, "- added the head of the ROC.
So they would refuse to get them vaccinated and would actually be the reason why they may not medal? Because 3 weeks in quarantine means 3 weeks of o training at all, which for those athletes could mean no chance for them to medal. 3weeks of no jumping no skating, no training right before the Olympics? That's a bad thing, and could potentially cost them the medals and podium sweep

Maybe the IOC will step in and distribute the vaccines for the athletes who do not have access to them in their countries for whatever reasons, as it happened with last summer Olympics.

Why do these little twitter fans constantly write such pompous words and phrases.. Kids are too emotional 🧐
For all lovers of breaking up into camps - I'm a fan of Alyona myself :) And I did write this not because I don't like Alyona
