2021 Skate Canada: Free Dance

That was a really unique free dance that I somehow found totally riveting. I don't understand how their tech score is still so much lower than Davis/Smolkin though... were they really that good??

While this FD is excellent I'm not in love with it, I don't know why but I don't love Miyahara Satoko so... I so miss the feeling of being in love with a program, anxiously waiting for it to start and to watching it with my breath held (so far the ones I certainly love are recycled ones). I hope my darlings deliver but squirtle is using Roxanne (please please no lyrics love) so it's only Junhwan. I need more programs that I love. This is Olympic season for heaven's sake.

Ouch. Guess Lilah and Lewis aren't the It team anymore. Looks like that's Green/Parsons this year, or maybe Smart/Diaz.

Why so fickle judges? I wonder if it's worse to have one stellar season and then never again?

Really like Caroline and Michael's FD! Don't understand why their tech score is less than Diana and Gleb's.

I still haven't forgiven S/D for the Natural Woman FD.

If only Caroline have a better dress, that choreo sequence(?) at the end was incredible. Glad they went into the lead, I was really scared when the TES box froze at 57.

it did in the end, the TP had forgotten to add the second curve lift ...

Doing that same performance

I think F/G's score relative to L/L was pretty valid given their mistakes, but we shall not talk about the other team whose relative score is bleurgh
