Does Dasha Sadkova compete in SuperSonic's cohort or Alisa Dvoeglazova's? Or is there a cohort inbetween those two where Dasha competes?
Are Lyuba Rubtsova and Lena Kostyleva both still at Crystal? Has Lena been on any podiums or in any recent competitions that you know of? tia

If her days off become distractions, sure. But uhhhh-- who cares how she spends her free time? Especially if it's mentally rejuvenating? Not everything needs to be about money. And Aliona is not the only one enjoying her time off. Kamila posts all the time, as does Anna. I think both have posted photos/videos of how they spend their free time this season. You think that their days off they just spend time at the Eteri alter praying to her figurine for intercession with the skating gods?

I also wonder if Nugumanova is also ready to move on to the next chapter of her life. She didn't seem to be at all upset at her skate today, or yesterday-more of a 'oh well' type shrug. I saw her in the background greeting children and signing autographs-her smile really lights up the rink, and she just seems so dang nice. I can see her being very marketable in ice shows, commercial work, TV work etc. She is a beautiful skater, just not competitive tech wise, but so many fans really go to see the type of skating she puts on the ice.

I don't know what is going on with ksenia and Anna. There has been speculation about changing countries.. they may just be injured. Seems strange not at Cup Of Russia. Ksenia anyway. Dasha is out injured I think. She is junior age now I think. I would like to know what has happened to Lena K as I really liked her a lot. Didn't Rubtsova just win a medal like very recently. Sure I saw an IG post. Someone better informed will know more than myself I am sure.

Frolova and Liventseva are listed in the upcoming Moscow championship (30 Nov - 3 Dec)
Kostyleva is officially in Khrustalny BUT Lena's mother has some serious problems with them. According to her mother currently Kostyleva is coached by Goncharenko (not in Khrustalny)

I'm not sure getting more tattoos and doing non commercial photoshoots is the right way to show commitment in an Eteri camp. Considering how much you're stuttering compared to the other girls. Yeah I get its her own life but why go through a grovelling apology and acknowlegde you need Eteri discipline and then end up slacking. I remember Evgenia in her olympic season was off instagram until the olympics ended except for 1 promotion post.

I’m not sure how getting a tattoo and doing a photoshoot is considered slacking. Could it be possible that maybe she earned the tattoo similar to Trusova earning her dogs? Some girls like dogs. Some like tattoos. And don’t all the girls do photoshoots? Alena isn’t allowed?
What would it take for Alena to show her loyalty to Eteri? Just asking that question sounds a little cringe. Imagine having to prove your loyalty and gratitude every day.

Yes, I got that feeling today, that she has already moved on. But it was also a sad feeling because it meant we might never see her again in competitions.

I said this before. Give me good looks and a Mercedes and see how motivated I will be to skate. Haha

It’s hard to stay motivated when you can make more money not putting your body through the rigors of competitive skating and the training that goes with it. Doing less work for more money. Where do I sign up?

If Little Liza can make more money going to fashion shows, modeling Mercedes’ and posting videos of her doing camel spins, why not strike while the iron is hot?

Alena can probably do better than Little Liza because she has real deal skating successes and the Eteri networking system.

Go back a year, once I saw Medvedeva was posting ads and doing TV work, I predicted that her competitive career was on life support. And she has qualifications that trump the 2 mentioned above. She is an Olympic Silver medalist. You can certainly monetize that.

If Kostornaia was performing like she did in the 2019-2020 season or was winning, even if the performances were a bit lackluster, I don't think anyone would be commenting that she's not focused/prioritizing etc. her skating seeing the photoshoots, but she's the weak skater of the Crystal group right now so the photoshoots aren't a good look.

If Kostornaia was performing like she did in the 2019-2020 season or was winning, even if the performances were a bit lackluster, I don't think anyone would be commenting that she's not focused/prioritizing etc. her skating seeing the photoshoots, but she's the weak skater of the Crystal group right now so the photoshoots aren't a good look.

Maybe take your day off in a less blatant way, especially after the coaches have publicly criticized your commitment. Unless this was designed as an FU to the coaches, who knows?

I agree that the optics aren’t good. Why give people this kind of ammunition?

This is what I was talking about regarding not making good decisions. She needs another voice in her life guiding her better.

Anna’s day off probably consists of 3 hours of sleep and 21 hours in the gym doing cardio.

And where is the press? Didn’t see any articles today quoting coaches telling us she needs to be in the Olympics because of her longevity.

If she truly is 'over' figure skating as some are speculating then I do want her to WD not only from Nationals but IDF and thus remove her name from being in the running for the GPF, Russia has so many ladies who want to skate but can't get a shot because of how deep the field is, I'd rather see someone that wants to be there then someone who just happens to be really talented at it.

This sort of whatifery is meaningless. No, if Alina hadn't backloaded, she would still have won, because Evgeniia would have sneezed during her final spin and splatted on to the ice. If Alina had fallen on her lutz-loop, she would still have won because she would have pulled off a surprise quad that she'd been training secretly. If Alina had stumbled on every jump, she would still have won because so would Evgeniia and everyone else in the competition. If ifs and ans were pots and pans there'd be no need for tinkers.
