I uh, disagree on the "complete package" Mark, she may be able to land a quad but there wasn't much of a performance, her jump technique is anything but elegant and her spins are just as meh. Still that's probably enough to medal here.

Her jumps don't have good running edge

A lot of Russian skaters land on the toe and have slow, scratchy pitched-forward landings because of it. It's one of the things that highlights her more junior-esque qualtiies compared to the other Eteri girls and will hopefully imptove with time

Well done, Maya! A gritty, determined performance, focused on getting those two quad toes landed at the start. But, while the quads were definitely the technically hardest part, I think the highlights of the FP for me were the beautiful Ina Bauer and the hydroblade. She has such exquisite lines, and she holds her positions just long enough for them to be appreciated.
