Well i read a random remark that said Stepanova and Bukin haven't left Moscow yet, which if true makes me doubt their ability to do the team event. If that's the case they may have to keep 1 girl for both segments to allow other disciplines to be substituted, because I don't think they have Valieva do the FS without doing the SP because the other 2 do not have a stable triple axel.

I am French and it is not exactly what is said in the video.
It's Maria Butyrskaya who says that according to her Kamila should do the short program and why not the long program because she would have time to recover.

I'm just repeating myself at this point but people have repeated worse so here I go again!
I'm so so so excited and thrilled for the girls!!! It's almost surreal that they're finally here with the level of competition in Russia. I wanted this team, I wasn't sure I would get this team and I still can't believe I've got this team.
They're all so incredibly talented and after years of rolling my eyes at people predicting the demise of their jumps I feel so vindicated that they're all out there practicing quads and 3As. They are amazing champions no matter what happens!!!!!!!

I always have fun coming acrosss their dancing videos on YouTube.
I don’t mind the free or the short, she’s on the team event like the title said, it’s what matters to me.
I’m looking forward to see her beautiful short tomorrow
.To be honest, I would like to see her skating both programs for the team event and for the single. I know, I’m greedy but she’s at her peak now and she reminds me about Yulia with her flexibility and Alina with her artistry.

Hello guys I m a bit confuse, why is Mamun everywhere ? Like she was on that Channel 1 Cup, Nats then here as well. Might as well invite Adelina don't you think ? Everyone also keep saying that Alina cant really talk, but she keeps getting the gigs, so which one is the truth ?
Mamun is very popular when Adelina is not. I don’t know where you read that Alina can’t speak. Come on, she hosted ice age for two years and she took lessons for her diction.

Well, I do know someone who can definitely speak and it's Shcherbakova. Her vlogs have been so interesting and professionally made, it even puts many trained journalists to shame! (just so no one takes this wrongly: I have seen exactly zero footage of either Alina or Mamun in Beijing, so this isn't meant as a slight against them lol)
That being said, I'm glad Zhenya and Alina get to be at another Olympics, even if it's not as competitors. They were the faces of 2018 and are still incredibly famous/popular in Russia, so why wouldn't you invite them as ambassadors if you had the chance?! No idea what Mamun's doing there but she's not the first person commentating on a discipline that isn't her own.

I saw it popping in my TL once in while actually, but I don't know if it's the truth or not since I don't speak Russian obviously but it started to really irk me since the posts usually were quite insulting. I think on the international side, it was TSL or maybe other western FS bloggers ( ? ) who continuously spread that Alina isn't a good public speaker and the journalist major that she is taking was controversial news in Russia or something
