Nika, may your back surive.... I know little about ice dance but I have heard many a tale of Nikita and his faulty back

NGL I'm worried he'll be in the middle of a lift and it'll go and he and Vika will end up on the ice and he won't be able to get up!

I have a catastrophising problem!

I actually think Nikita's really worked on his Twizzles. But I'm not an expert.

That earned a "meh, generically lovely" from me. Is Nika trying to be a pirate with the costume though? Ohhh the music change... doesn't fit but it's very fun music.

I do like how happy they look when they're dancing though. It's nice.

Not that they are going to listen to me, especially now but I would do something less matronly with Piper’s hair. It just adds to the this-is-the-last-step-before-retirement vibe.

The costumes, though, are MUCH better than those hideous things they wear for the RD.

Yes, I think the program was a mistake, the same way that Voir's "Farewell, Farewell" program was. But they still are magical.

Lots of speed for S/K and much less sloppy than the rhythm dance. The last third of that program cheapens the whole thing and this performance didn't change my mind.

Now remember I've never seen any of these LPs before, but I'll say this about Piper & Paul:

this is the team I will miss the most after this quad.

What in the heck is the random last part of that program?? It makes zero musical (or other) sense. They skated relatively well, but I found the program boring... followed by confusing.

It’s a shame that S/K’s free dance is so boring, I really think they’re more than capable of pulling off much more interesting material. Great skate though!

Victoria is really beautiful, and I actually like their free dance, especially the end.

Wow! Can’t get more different than seeing G/P and S/K back to back. Piper and Paul are so gentle and quiet skaters and Niki and Vici bring so much drama and abandon to their performance.

Looks fine to me
