But I suspect that Adam was not making a blanket statement for athletes from all other countries? My guess is that some federations probably could not afford separate outfits for every athlete to have on hand for the possibility of the medal ceremony.

Yes, but it didn't matter anyway. Vincent already skated in Team Event. You can't sub skater who already competed.

Shockingly, Simon & Chris didn't do too badly either. But we'll see as the night continues.... cause he got progressively worse with Peng/Jin the more he said their names.

He makes a real effort to pronounce the names correctly, even putting the Japanese names in reverse order (correct order for Japanese). Not sure if that's necessary, though, since he's speaking English, but whatever.
