You know what, I don't care about the technical score for this so much. He laid down the best artistry in the short, even if the judges disagree. A fantastic 3F, 3A that was fully rotated, and an effortless 3Lz+3T. World-class spins and footwork to boot! I'm glad that this clean performance will go into the annals of Olympic history, as it deserves, even if it doesn't score very high.

Personal bests for Brown and Chen? Yuma and Shoma killed it--despite the Vincent heartbreak this was a pretty good event.

Chen does't deserve 47.

If Hanyu can commit a major error and get 47 PCS a flawless performance then 47 is totally justified for Chen… who did the two hardest quads instead of the 2 easiest quads with one popped to a single.

If he had quads, I swear he'd be unbeatable. And WHAT was the move in the 2nd half that looked like sort of a backward spiral? Simply gorgeous!!!
