L Squared, I'm going to forgive you for wearing such tacky and tasteless costumes because the performance of that was so good. I think you were undermarked on the tech elements, but you're new and we're back in the age where we're going to pretend that's it's pre-Salt Lake City.

Again, Montreal, sure would be nice if you choreographed an actual BLUES program for a Midnight Blues RD. Is that too much to ask? Shame on you.

I wish had H/B had a better RD to match they’re beautiful FD. Agree Kaitlyn needs a new dress - it doesn’t really suit the music. But they skated that well!

Level 1 (for now, under review) on the MB for Hawayek/Baker. I find it frustrating these two can't always get their levels, they are SO GOOD and Jean Luc especially is an incredible talent.

IIRC Montreal have 11 teams out of 23 today

Awesome to see my babies on Olympic ice. I like their free dance better but this was well skated. Kaitlin was selling and Jean-Luc was smooth as always.

So I haven't watched these two in a long time and I am SO impressed by their evolution as performers. They really have a much more mature look on the ice than they used to, you really feel like you are watching fully developed performers. A pity the talent in the USA is so deep it must be frustrating for them to have evolved so much and to still be a sort of distant third.

Yeah I smell trouble on the levels for them...and I love them but not this performance. Tanith & Johnny are being kind.

H/B's RD makes me wish that they had stayed with Igor, or gone to Carol Lane, or anything else. But I'm so happy that they are loving this experience.

In other news, Weir does not think that ice dance is figure skating. Apparently, it is just cousin of real figure skating.
