Losing the National title was the best thing that could have happened to Hubbell/Donohue! It made them hungrier and sharper; they’ve improved so much late in the season! That was wonderful!

Their TES dropped. Still a perfect setup for a bronze. The judges have spoken in terms of their faves but if anyone makes a major mistake something surprising could still happen.

Yeah, Maddie and Zach weren't quite as crisp as they can be. Decent distance from Sinitsina/Katsalapov but the Free Dance will be a fight anyway.

Huh? I thought they were better in the team event, but they get SB here. The gap to C/B seems a little large.

I love them both. Sadly the podium isn't big enough.

I do think the podium is set unless a major error is made by one of the top 3 teams.

HUBBELL Madison / DONOHUE Zachary (USA)

WOWZA! That was amazing! That was the best expression of street dance, classic hip-hop technique with the locking. (Though I don't expect the judges to know about pop-locking at all lmao.) Really, I'm not sure what the technical panel deems to be a Level 4 because we haven't found it yet, nor what a W4/M4 looks like. Anyway, they were extremely powerful through the Midnight Blues - and their sharpness is amazing. I'm not sure why Madison got a Level 3 on the twizzle... was the second set of twizzles too loose? This technical panel is a bit spastic...
