Who's here for the summer?

I probably lurk here more than post during the summer...check the news, see what's happening. Spring work around the ranch has picked up and I am gone about a third of the summer traveling so not alot of time for all my forums. Love hearing about how everyone is doing, though.
Off to Alaska in two weeks. Today I get one of the lawn mowers running. Both lawn tractors operational. Everyone have a good summer and do something nice for yourself. And have good thoughts for Colorado and New Mexico. 70 mph winds and dry. The Tunnel fire is now 20,000 acres.

I will be here over the summer, but perhaps a little less posting and a little less present than in Season times. I will also be enjoying a bit of vacation when I will be off line altogether!
Social media detox! Its like a cleansing of the soul! I camp out 30 days a year and stay off the phone even if I have coverage....no phone no tv....just people to talk with and sitting in a camp chair and making sure the mountains dont move. The Song of Wyoming for me.

Program announcements are already beginning.

Coaching changes and retirements.

SOI is happening, as are other shows.

In the US Summer competitions start in June with Chesapeake, Cannon, and Philadelphia (formerly Liberty). There are Lake Placid Dance and Lake Placid Singles & Pairs. And more

We are talking about buying tickets for GP events and Challenger events

We usually start some threads about the retired greats.

And anything someone wants to talk about is just fine.
Absolutely. There are still many topics of interest.

One of my favorites is the New Programs thread. Cheers and razzes about the music selections... even more fun when none of us have seen the programs!

Desperately searching for livestreams to summer comps. GS abounds with bootleg links and VPN tips to become a Fake Canadian! Fun, fun, fun!

I will be checking in when not gardening outside. I will continue to update my lists as new videos often become available during the off season. I am just finishing Internationals from 1966-1993 (Pre- Grand Prix). The Earliest Internationals featuring many of our coaches as competitors, adapted from Walt's lists into my usual competition format with as complete a list of competitors as I can find. Some fascinating match-ups here.

I will be growing lots of sunflowers......

Me too! I usually grow small and tall ones.
I grew lots of sunflowers this summer (just gone, because I'm in the southern hemisphere). Grew them in pots indoors before when I lived in an apartment, but now I have a vege garden outside in a sunny spot! Some of them grew much taller than expected and were damaged by an early summer storm. I like the unusual coloured ones (brown and pale yellow). I might try some dwarf ones next year.

When and how will we know any updates on the Kamila drug case? Is she suspended? Has there been any further investigation?
When will the team event medals be awarded??
