Well good news is that Ilia walking out with a medal and the US men have kept their three spots. The bad news is that the bais against Ilia is starting to show itself a bit. Now Uno won his title fair and square but I have problem with Cha getting the silver mostly though PCS because to be honest he is not much more artistic than Ilia and n my opinion. But next year Ilia going to be back and if bais continues he will just start doing Quint's because he working on them now and the worlds next year will be in our backyard.

He’s still very young, and I don’t think most people would say he only jumped, just that his non-jump elements aren’t as refined or impressive yet. He’s got time to get there, hopefully. I’m not too worried

Heh true, I always get over defensive when the "Oh they just jumped" line comes out, because every skater, even the jumpers do other stuff too, not as well as the others of course, but I'm always like "Hey I saw a spin! I saw footwork!" Obviously I'm taking the phrase too literally.

I think Ilia should have scaled back the quads to maybe 5 because i just think 6 is to much for him now. Nathan had a great way of knowing what he could do in regard to quads but we are now seeing just what a machine Nathan was as a competitor. But remember at 18 Nathan also had a meltdown at the Olympics so he had to learn the hard way too.

Bias? Not more Artistic? Have you seen the flow on the ice itself when they're both not jumping? If all of Illia's quads were clean and with good flow, sure you have a point. But was it though?

Bias may exist in figure skating, but it was not there today. Sorry. I see the bias in your comment itself, in my opinion.
