Doesn't say. Only that "it was reported that it’s the very well known version", so ppl are guessing towards Buckley's version. Choreo is by Shae-Lynn.

The very well known version... i would say there are 3...buckley, kd lang and the original... but for skating, probably the first one.... that will make me miss you know who.

When I read what he said, my first thought was actually Alexandra Burke. Then Jeff Buckley.

I would be happy with either of those two. Although I like other KD Lang songs, I don't like her version of "Hallelujah". And as for Leonard Cohen, for me his version isn't best suited for skating to. Too downbeat for interpreting.

Here it is, mid-June already, and still the only good out-of-the-box choice is Nikita Starostin’s—come on people!! We are waiting!

But Hallelujah? I despise Hallelujah with the passion of a thousand burning suns. I despise the Leonard Cohen "OP", the Jeff Buckley version, the kd Lang version, the Canadian tenors version, any version at all and no version at all.

My thoughts exactly. My first reaction to this news was “Deniss, why?!” but of course I haven’t seen the program yet, and I have sometimes been positively surprised by choices that initially went against my personal taste as long as there aren’t five other programs to Hallelujah in the same group at a Grand Prix or Worlds, I think I’ll survive in any case, haha.

Kévin Aymoz's SP was "Still Don't Know My Name" and Ilia Malinin skated to Euphoria. Are they separate tunes? I have no clue.

There may be more. Labrinth is not unknown in skating circles (although I only know what I read here, I had no idea it was one person)

Not being a particular V/M fan (I know, heresy), I looked this up, but sadly it was a mishmash of Prince songs, not just "Kiss".

I am hoping beyond hope that Yaro does just Kiss. I agree, if it is a mishmash, and if it includes "Question of U", it's been done. Just Kiss. Not so much

But I am eagerly awaiting Nikita's Trammps program, even if it is not because someone actually knew what songs were popular in the 70s but because it's being used in some movie/TV show I'll never see. I'll still take it.

I know not super original, but it does appear to be a nicely choreographed program. I like the sweeping gestures and the "bigness" of it, which really fits with the music, and they seem to be doing a good job with it.
