Sadly, the season is over, so lets try to keep us entartained, set our imagination free and speculate just for fun, who would make a wonderful ice dance team or pair with another partner. Forget the nationality, forget the borders. Who could have a great chemistry with someone else? Would you like to see Domnina dancing with Massimo Scali? Bring it on! Some retired great skaters would match with someone currently skating?
Who do you think is/was terribly mismatched?

Tatjana Volozoshar should have switched for ages! Strangely enough she hasn't yet. Such a wonderful skater but she's doomed with Morozov. I think Maxim Marinin would suit her pretty well.

Mmm Tatiana really needs new partner. But one can't disociate Marinin from Totmianina, because what made them great clearly wasn't emotion (they didn't have any), but in thier harmony, the way they reflected each other.

Volosozhar has that vulnerable quality in her presentation. Perhaps someone with more bravado...like Smirnoff or something.

I think Kinga meant for this to be hypothetical, so even great pairs skaters who have passed on can be matched.

I perfectly know that it won't happen, but it's just for fun, isn't it? It's only about which skaters could be teamed up, hypothetically speaking. I just think they would be a good couple.

Maybe they just need to find someone that can
A. Make better costumes...or find a nice pair of sharp scissors
B. Find him a perma smile and a new attitude or perhaps a mask that he can wear that will make it look like he is actually a happy person.
C. Attach velcro to his butt so that he will actually stay in the kiss and cry area long enough to hear his scores (on second thought....crazy clue on the bench right before he sits down might due the trick...velcro on his butt will probably not allow him to do some skating move and imagine his coach having to cut that off!! SCARY!!!)

Indeed, I think that Tatiana needs a change! She is an incredible female skater. But I would not vote for Marinin. He is kind of cold, and so is she a bit, so I dont see great chemistry between them. I would love to see her with Artur Dmitriev or John Zimmerman

When it comes to ice dance, I dont particularly enjoy the connection between Faiella/Scali. And I wish that Evgeni Platov had skated with someone else than Oksana G. I still would like to see Angelika Krylova skating, lets say with.. John Kerr Or Charlie White Or, how about Krylova/Platov?
