I had to smile when I looked at the ISU Bio for Charlotte JENNES (BEL).

She has her place of birth down as "Deurne (Antwerp)", and her hometown down as "Wijnegem (Antwerp)".

We are not talking about 2 places on opposite sides of Antwerp province. They are both suburbs of Antwerp city, and are less than 3 miles apart. Most people would just put down "Antwerp" for both. But, Charlotte felt the need to distinguish them.

I like that. This is a girl for whom detail is important. And that is a good thing for a figure skater.

Unfortunately, she went into penultimate position.
