My goodness, that was a cheer and a half when they were introduced!

And the cheers during the programme and afterwards. They've definitely got the support of the audience.

That was absolutely brilliant. I didn't se any issues.

They looked very happy when they finished. Sofía was even blowing kisses to the crowd!

Both Sara and Kirill with them.

Sara was on the edge of her seat when the scores were being announced!

They go into 2nd position, 2.33 points behind Olivia and Tim.

Believe it or not, all that Ice Dancing was in an Advanced Novice sandwich. We had the girls before the Dancers, and now we have the boys. A group of 8 boys.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any of the Senior Dance videos yet. And I really want to see Olivia & Tim too!

It was a major mistake not watching them LIVE. But, because the links to each day's stream were remaining on the home page, I thought that meant that they were getting archived.

But, I'm watching all of Spain today!

(By the way, if you want to do a re-watch for the Lithuanian Championships, although there is no livestreaming, all the individual videos are being uploaded to the organising club's YouTube page. More info in this post).

Like yesterday, Day 3 starts with Synchronised skating. Except it is a double-bill rather than a quadruple-bill. A combined "group" (for want of a better word!) consisting of 1 Junior team and 2 Senior teams.

have a look on the twizzles. The nomination of the Spanish Fed will be interesting. Or they follow their own rules (only TES as a criterium, means Val/Kazimov is leading at the moment) or they send the pair with the higher PCS and total scores with a higher chance to get 2 sports next year.

We now move onto a Free Dance quadruple-bill. A group containing 1 Basic Novice partnership and 1 Advanced Novice partnership; followed by a group of 3 Junior partnerships; followed by a group of 3 Senior partnerships.

Given the numbers, I will do a combined post for the Novices, and separate posts for the Juniors and Seniors.

Looking at the contents of the Protocols from yesterday, I think we know the answer. The Judges are definitely giving Olivia and Tim a boost. Don't get me wrong, they were good. But they were not that much better. Especially since Sofía and Asaf's programme was clean, and their programme wasn't.

That was the first time I've actually seen Olivia and Tim's programme. And although I do like those Blondie songs, on the whole I prefer Sofía and Asaf's "Top Gun" programme.

It will be interesting to see what happens today...

But first, the younger Ice Dancers.

Awwwww!!!! How cute are these Basic Novice Dancers?!

Yes, it needs a lot of polishing. But that was fun!

Mind you, I'm confused. They are wearing costumes straight out of the 70's, and doing recognisably 70's dance moves, but skating to a song from 2016. ("Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake).

But, hey! It was enjoyable.

Ah, now I know what is going on. Sofía PASCUAL MATEOS / Sergio PARRA ALMONACID (MAD) got the quota of 70's music!

Great music, great costumes, and the skating wasn't bad either!

I'm going to be keeping an eye out for these two. I like them.

Unlike yesterday, both of Sara and Kirill's teams are going back-to-back. So, it will be interesting to see how they divide themselves.

That said, yesterday, it was just Sara that was with Philomene SABOURIN / Raul BERMEJO GUTIERREZ (MAD) when they were getting their results. So, will she be sitting with them today again, or will they swap and have Kirill with them?

I fully expect both of them to be sitting with Sofía and Asaf.

Well, we'll find out soon. Because they are starting now.
