God I love the first part so much, it is absolutely brilliant. I get that there needs to be a change after a while, but the second part just drops too low into elevator music territory for me then. I wish they could have found a better second half, then it would have been a program to remember for the ages.

Loved that program from the French couple! But I'm sure it was way too short. Certainly over too soon!

I've gone the other way - it has introduced me to a lot of modern/pop/rock music.

I had no idea that Silk Sonic's "Skate" existed until one of the Canadian junior men introduced it to me! What a fun song!

I believe Shevchenko/Eremenko used the same first half music and a different second half in 2019 (?) so might be worth checking out
