Take off the pot, it's pressing! I wish you to enjoy your transgender competitions.Yes, enjoy your serf theater. The geat Russian tradition is alive and well in 2024.
Since Valieva WD I think they will invite four girls: Koltsova, Kostyleva, Gordeeva, Bazylyuk.Lena and Margo are in the team event and who else?
Was Trusova underscored when she wore a dress+pants combo for her Kill Bill program? Or Valieva for wearing longer dresses in her SP? Was Nathan Chen underscored for wearing the most Walmart-like shirts for most of his Senior career?I feel that they have no choice, because they are afraid they will be underscored.
Lol, you really can't take it when people are in control of their lives, bodies and careers.Take off the pot, it's pressing! I wish you to enjoy your transgender competitions.
Valieva was fully covered when she slammed the world recordWas Trusova underscored when she wore a dress+pants combo for her Kill Bill program? Or Valieva for wearing longer dresses in her SP? Was Nathan Chen underscored for wearing the most Walmart-like shorts for most of his Senior career?![]()
I agree we should get the ballerinas in track suits because the dresses just make it look like a pageant and we should really be focusing on the dancing. Gosh what an unsophisticated world we live in.I love the costumes-I do. But maybe it is time to move on to more athletic type outfits-the costumes in some ways are a bit of a holdover from figure skating as a 'pageant' endeavor. I do feel it would get more respect if there was a transition to more of the unitard/lulumon/addidas type wear-and we could lose the 'ice princess' reputation.
Soothe yourself with it. And destroy your sport further with words about the body and career.Lol, you really can't take it when people are in control of their lives, bodies and careers.
And some skaters want to be sexualized, so.....People will sexualise anything, there's even adult videos about women in Hijabs and Niqabs. And as you yourself just said, athletic attire looks great on women, and people sexualise that too (track & field is full of creeps for that reason too).
Changing your clothes won't protect you from anything, you have to change the mindset of people and that isn't done by trying to mandate what kind of clothing people should wear.
