Aleksandr Lebedev and Natalia Pozhivilko/Sviatoslav Verstakov of Belarus will take part. This raises so many questions.
1) Why them? They have much stronger skaters (Evgeni Puzanov, Ekaterina Andreeva/Dmitri Blinov).
2) Why only two disciplines?
3) They won't allow Semion to skate because of the skater outside of the competition? Really?
4) 11 ice dance couples? How? And if you can do 11 ice dance couples then do 13 men.

He is already not on the list. I doubt the Fed adds him back.

Honestly, it's not just "skate poorly", I doubt it's possible to complete a free program in this condition. There are a lot of skaters who competed with fever, cold, not being fully recovered, etc. But not with pneumonia.

I'm glad they draw the line on a two-sided pneumonia caused by Covid. Breathing is not optional. I am wishing Gumennik full recovery.

From Samsonov interview:
Erokhov told Samsonov that he wouldn't take part in Spartakiad already at Nationals.
Samsonov's going to compete with more difficult layout. But so far he's having some problems with skating his short program well.

Adelia will win for (fast) sure and with her 3A recovered, the silver seems to be promised to muravieva.
The bronze will be more suspenseful : I really hope to see Alina or yametova take that bronze even if i doubt yametova can do this.

Upd. It's Valera who is injured, not Yasmina. There was a mistake in the news.
By the way, Yasmina was seen training with another partner. It doesn't mean that they definitely split, she's probably just keeping herself in shape.

The word Spartakiade was already tough enough for me, but now seeing the theme of the show challenge event I realize I really have to stop watching Russian figure skating.
