How to watch Channel One broadcast in 2023/24 season

This season there's no official Youtube stream. Replays are uploaded on this channel after a competition is over. There are two ways to watch the official broadcast:
1) Channel One website. The website is blocked in some countries by local providers. You can use Dutch VPN if you are from Europe, or Canadian VPN if you are from the USA to avoid the block.
2) VLC media player. Open this link: https://1tv-live-gcore.servicecdn.ru/dash-live3/streams/sport-1/sport-1.mpd via the player. This option is preferable because the broadcast quality will be better.

Competition Regulations
Note: I have omitted the already known rules, and also simplified the others, because this regulation is unreasonably overly complicated in some parts.

In the short program, juniors compete under senior competition rules. In the free skaters, they compete under junior competition rules.

Every team is headed by a captain. The colour of each team is assigned according to the results of the draw.

In the case of a tie, Channel One and federation determine the participant based on the results of Nationals and Spartakiad.

In the case of a tie, Channel One and federation determine the participant based on the results of Nationals and Spartakiad.

Team rosters are formed at the team draft on 01 March by the team captains.

Each skater or pair/ice dance couple performs only in the short program or only in the free program (*except as described below).

Skaters competing in the free program also take part in the Elements Battle. Skaters competing in the short program take part in the Fans Challenge.

There will be substitutes at the event who will replace a competitor before the official practice and the draw if necessary.
*If a substitute is needed after the draw, one of the team members will do both programs.

Actually, I was kind of expecting they would do this , Sasha has had after all a long career representing Russia and it's good the Fed acknowledges this somehow. Hope he gets a nice farewell during the event

I wonder why there are juniors this year. Seems to me that there were not juniors the two previous seasons. I mean by juniors the skaters who are not old enough to compete as seniors domestically (some are not even old enough to compete as juniors internationally).
Will they have to skate a senior version of their FP if they are picked for the free? Will they be allowed to jump quads in SP (the boys)?
It would have been better if it was a seniors-only event. I prefer to see Gleb and Matvei rather than Lev and Arseniy. The jumping comp was already enough.

I guess most juniors won't be picked for the FP since they are at disadvantage. They can't get the choreo sequence's points on their BV. Even if for skaters like Bazylyuk it isn't a problem.
