2024 World Junior Championships Women's Free Skate

Oof they didnt count the choreo sequence and shame about the pop.
Sofia is difficult for me to objectively judge as I still remember her from her novices and her injuries and growth has stalled her development and she hasn't gotten back to her novice shape since.

BTW is the music level really low for you guys? I can barely hear it! Ted's loud and clear though! :)

As I discovered yesterday, the third round of the Cup Of Israel was being held in Holon the past couple of days. And when looking through the results, I spotted that a Maria Shifrin finished 2nd in the Cubs competition.

I wonder if she is Sophia's wee sister. 🤔

Either way, if she comes through to compete on the ISU circuit, that'll mean that there will be two skaters for whom I will be constantly writing their name as "Mikaela", and then having to correct it! :drama:

Another skater backloading their programs and avoiding a 3+3 combination. Phattaratida's opening jumps are gorgeous, it's so nice to see her back and skating up to her full potential. It's very hard to skate to classical music as a junior, but I think the power of the music works well with her skating. It was nice to see her emoting at the end of the program.

These girls are still maturing, if Exogenesis is where they are at then maybe we need to accept it. Sometimes the girls just want to be like their friends until they develop their personalities more.
Maybe they just want to skate to the music of their idols at this stage.
