Shame about the loop but on the naked eye her jumps looked more rotated today, some URs but overall not bad at all

is that Leonid Sviridenko with Polina? He looked very familiar in the short but I couldn't put my finger on who he was.

TED SAID HER NAME RIGHT! He has won the fight! I think this was Polina's best FS outing of the season. Her opening 2A was really lovely. It's a shame some of the other jumps didn't quite have the same quality, but she got everything done. I hope we will see some PCS development from her in the future, but she is very young.

The 3lz-3T wasn't rotated but otherwise this was a redemption skate for Polina.
She has gotten slower since the JGP tho, I dont know if thats a sigh of an injury or due to the coaching change

Another solid FS from Kaiya! Hopefully the judges reward her performance abilities in the scores, because she has been the only skater in this first group who was really emoting. I think she should consider going the US women route of just not doing a 3+3 in her free program, because she can easily do the rest of the jumps but the rotation calls on her combo cost her a lot of points.
