I was just thinking that. I think if everyone places ahead of her (and I'm sure they will) I believe that Amber gets pushed down to 12th. if Isabeau wins, that totals 13.

Coming in, it was a long shot, but after the SP, it was feasible.

Looking forward, I can't help but think "The spot you lose may be the spot you need."

Of course, it's not over, and we have no idea what Isabeau will do later one, so it might not matter.

Oh, Amber. Watching her sob in the K&C just breaks my heart. I don't even particularly like her as a skater... but I want her to succeed so badly just because I know SHE wants it so badly.

I know people are disappointed and upset for Amber but there is a line between expressing your emotions and outright bullying, and perhaps some of the posters here need to consider their comments as to where they fall on that line. Disappointment is normal, expressing emotion is fine, outright cruelty is not. She's already crying in the k&c, there's no need to put her down further.

Someone should set up a secret competition that judges the skaters during their practice sessions... but not tell the skaters. I'll give you 2.6 guesses for who podiums on that one.
