Someone should set up a secret competition that judges the skaters during their practice sessions... but not tell the skaters. I'll give you 2.6 guesses for who podiums on that one.

She'd win gold. But, honestly, it's a competition. You have to deliver. Sadly, many of the most incredible skaters just aren't good competitors

I think because she injured her left foot, she is limited on what jumps she can do and probably can't pick in for a 3T yet, and so opted to take the zayak as opposed to doing a planned double.

And ... Lacrimosa ... Lacrimosa? It seems like a worn-out warhorse regardless of the rendition for me.

Why not some other Lacrimosa? I mean ... the band, there's a pretty good German gothic metal band with songs that I think could work in figure skating programs, actually a lot of their pieces of music has no electric guitar used if someone isn't into heavy music and a lot of potential for some well-placed drama in the choreo. Actually there's a lot of untrodden territory with music for figure skating still that would still suit.
