Thats irrelevant frankly because obviously nobody can make diamond out of literally anything...
I was literally responding to your commentShe was inconsistent last season, but with Eteri she is going to become a machine.
Thats irrelevant frankly because obviously nobody can make diamond out of literally anything... point is her success rate is extremely high and incomparably past everybody else, and we know for sure Prineva has diamond potential. The difference in coaching staff Prineva will experience is absolutely massive. Trusova with Plushenko was very inconsistent technically and Eteri straightened her out instantly.
Are we assuming that these skaters would be Kaori and the other Japanese ladies, Belgiam's duo, Korea and the USA? Are they better than these ladies.Muravieva still beat Petrosian in 2020 Russian Junior Nationals, when it mattered, to go to Junior Worlds that season. The Junior Worlds was unfortunately, cancelled. Would have been lovely to see the three Sofias sweep the podium that year. She also beat Petrosian at 2022 Russian Nationals and Akatieva at the Russian Cup in 2023, later that season.
Overall, Muravieva is currently the second best skater in the world behind Petrosian. If Akatieva and Veronika Z comeback, she could fall out of the top three. But, one thing about Muravieva, is that she always fights for top three when it matters.
The only point I’m making is that it seems like the podium for Junior and Senior Women at Russian Nationals is going to be filled with Plushenko and Eteri girls and therefore, there is an existing rivalry between these two camps. You can’t deny that.

Do you believe this? I don't. Maybe Alina is going to say the same thing. Same difference.Alexandra Trusova is expecting to take part at test skates if her health (and the fed) allows it!!
Are internationals this disconnected from reality? Are we assuming that these skaters would be Kaori and the other Japanese ladies, Belgiam's duo, Korea and the USA? Are they better than these ladies.
Akatieva (assuming she gets back to how she skated pre-injury), Muravieva and Petrosyan all with a triple axel are better

You seem to be ignoring that Trusova was inconsistent with Eteri before she went to Plushenko where she continued her inconsistency and even when she came back to Eteri she wasn't consistent - everyone just discounts it because her foot was injured and she managed to be relatively clean at the Olympics.
Yes.
Last season it was just 2011-2012.
It was done because last season they raised the junior limit. And so that girls born in the second half of 2010 couldn't compete in juniors (because they were too young) or novices (because they were too old). So they lowered the age limit for the older group at novice nationals by six months.
Yes, it's 10 years old.Right, @AlexBreeze. I recall that Liza Andreeva had a weird season because of this.
So I suppose this means that the upper limit for novice younger age *younger* group will be 10 years old as of 2024-December-31?
And will the lower limit for this group be 8 years old or 9 years old as of 2024-December 31?
Yes, it's 10 years old.
I'm not sure if there is an official lower limit for this competition.
Sure. Otherwise no one would come, like last year..Even if she's sloppy I'm sure the Fed will allow her at Test skates to sell tickets.

As I understand it.The one category we haven't covered, besides sports categories, is novice older age. Do you know if the lower and upper limits are still 11 and 17, respectively? And, for each, is it July 1 or December 31?
The arena was loaded but we understand that you're more familiar with youtube edits than figure skatingSure. Otherwise no one would come, like last year..![]()

As I understand it.
Used to be: 11 (December 31) and 16 (December 31) inclusively
Since this season: 11 (July 1) and 17 (December 31) inclusively
Would this be the only way Russia could get 3 entrants for the Olympics? Now, she can use her "former World/Olympic medalist comeback" status to go to Worlds, along with another skater, let's say Petrosyan. They combine placements to earn three spots, which would be confirmed at Nebelhorn by another skater like Muravyova. And voila, three spots. I didn't think either Sasha or Anna would come back, but this looks like the simplest way to get back the three spots. I suppose we'll find out what exactly the status of Russian skaters being allowed to compete will be this season pretty soon.Evgeni Plushenko has officially announced Trusova's comeback.

2025 worlds? And how is she going to be allowed to that?Would this be the only way Russia could get 3 entrants for the Olympics? First of all, since when are former World/Olympic medalists exempt from the country-based limit at competitions (which is one currently for Russia at Euros and Worlds)?Would this be the only way Russia could get 3 entrants for the Olympics?
