As the vocalist gains strength so does Harin. So much potential for this 13 year old. Not a clean skate, but a valuable learning experience. I look forward to seeing what she brings in her next skate. I hope she does not get down on herself as she is amazingly talented and lovely.

I hope so too, she's an infant and has done extremely well!

Controversial opinion but I can never like this Voila song... not like "I can't stand it, mute!" hatred but just not my cup of tea and no matter how much I drink this tea I can't bring myself to like it (yes, even when my child Rena also skates to it this season....)

I love this version where Rieu brings a young talented girl who has been ill to sing it. My heart just melts for this version everytime because she gives her all much like Celine Dion at the Olympics.

Sarina is exactly where I expect her to be given her split senior/junior season and back-to-back competitions. She has to be in competition shape from now until late March (assuming she earns a spot at Worlds), so she will absolutely begin peaking later in the season. You can see the quality she has, but nothing looked easy, and that's just due to fatigue and this being the early season for her.

It was a better skate than last week, yes, but this is still far from her potential. Is she coming back from an injury or did they just start preparing for the season late? But in both cases, why not do later JGPs? Or switch to Seniors completely? Their season starts later (for the most part).

Coach Park Bitna is fashionable as always. Personally I find Harin's dress a bit too old for her, I'm not sure who did her dress but Yujae's dresses are known for their sparkles as well and I wish Harin's dress was more along Yujae's ones

More topically: Harin has great height and distance in her jumps. KSU feels like one of the feds where the jump tech varies the most widely among the top skaters so it's very nice to see really solid technique like hers.

Harin has always been a strong jumper, that's how she won last season's junior nationals. I just hope that she can keep her technique while developing her non-jump elements and PCS...

GRRRRR, that was NOT a good music cut of the key change!!! I actually love this song so it irks me greatly when I feel it's badly cut DO THE KEY CHANGE JUSTICE IF YOU'RE GONNA DO IT. (No fault at all of Harin's but.)

I am sick and tired of Voila and therefore was extremely irked when I first heard this calamity of a version at JGP selections, like seriously Yeaji you are better than this

Oh nonono... I have the most fabulous piece of comic music that includes this bit of the Rach, which means I always burst out laughing when it goes the proper way. And now I'm getting funny looks.

Was she doing a swan movement with her arms just before? Graceful but the dress is not swanlike.
