2024 JGP Wuxi Women's SP

Another white (and modern) princess dress...

Sorry Wei Xuan, but I don't like it. The black pattern on the white background is nice, but there is too much of it.

"Vogue" always makes a fun programme.

Wei Xuan OH (MAS) goes into 24th position.

Did she just blow a kiss at the judges going into that lutz?

I hate all the Kill Bill programs that include this stupid alarm buzzing sound with an absolute passion

At least she looked like she had fun

(do they scream asian when they see Raffaele Zich? who is actually asian and got adopted as a baby?)
I had always wondered if he had mixed heritage (he looks vaguely Chinese to my eyes), didn't expect him to be an adoptee but that explains a lot

I was enjoying the first piece of music. (I've heard it before, and for some reason it makes me think of horror films involving children). Then it went weird. And then it went into very familiar music which I like. The third piece was good too, although I don't know it.

Enjoyed the music. Beautiful black dress with sparklies.

Unfortunately, Huong Dieu LE (VIE) had a few mistakes. But, the rest of it was nice.

Can't be, Kaneshige is four syllables only, unlike RUNGRATTANAPRASERT
When I worked, oh long ago, for the public service here, I sometimes had to help international students/workers fill out details on the computer and some of them (especially from some African countries) had only one name, mostly consonants, and up to 25 and at least once 28! - letters. The computers (state of the art then but still) were NOT impressed and the amount of fudging we needed to do......

Ted should be glad for small mercies  even if they do sprain his poor tongue.

But Chichaya is a walk in the park, comparatively.
That is why Polina Dzsumanyijazova only qualifies as the Nanga Parbat: he can go for the first name only.
I don't get why Phattaratida is considered difficult, phat/ta/ra/ti/da is simple if you ask me, not like there's a ton of phonemes that doesn't exist in English

he was born in Vietnam. btw we have a flourishing philippino and a big chinese community in Italy (philippinos were the first to immigrate in Italy in the 80s and they're totally integrated. Chinese started moving here in the 90s)
