You guys, hosting JGPs is expensive - Countries already hosting other expensive competitions (like a Grand Prix or multiple Internationals) or small feds with unfavorable geographic location often don't have the means to host them or think the money could be used more wisely (like funding their own skaters).

We just want to live in the perfect world where fgurevskating is everywhere!

Beautiful clean skate for Shuxian! Brilliant spins, with so much speed, and that I-spin is the perfect ending. Her dress is gorgeous, makes me think of a watercolour painting of a pansy at a distance, and has so much fine detail close up. The sleeves really emphasise the floating grace of her arms.

Shuxian took this opportunity and ran with it. This will probably be her only international competition this season, and she made it count. Whether or not she medals with this, she has made herself and her country very proud. Her determination and calmness will be an asset to her in her future career - Which will hopefully be bright (no slew of injuries like for some other Chinese baby skaters, please )
