2025 World Championships Women's Short Program

Shoma in the house, baby. Bow down.

Can’t help but remember how utterly awesome it was to finally see him live, at last year’s Worlds.

His last competition, as it turned out
I agree, it was incredibly awesome to see him live there (even though he was not at his best during the free skate 🥲)! Not my first time seeing Shoma (and not my last!), but he's amazing no matter how many times one sees him. 😍

i'm smelling Benoit...

Really well done from Alexandra - she was rock-solid on those jumps! This was a very calm and collected program - I'd have liked to have seen a bit more performance but clearly her choice to focus on the technical elements paid off, and it was nice to see her let go a bit in the step sequence after a really nice clean skate.

SP: 55.10 (4th) - she has a good chance to make it, she's on the bubble

I'm so proud of Kristen - she's an older skater at 24 but has really come into her own this season, her jumps are so nice and big and she has so much power and performance. She looked so solid in practices, and delivered here as well. She did so well to fight for that 3Lo, and I love the musicality of her flying spin and step sequence. It's such a shame about the 2A, but hopefully she can still make the free and help GB at the Olympic Team Event. Wow, it's amazing she did that with such serious injuries!
