What a comeback from a messy start - Maddie made a mistake, calmly corrected it, and carried on as if nothing happened. I didn't see her foot touch the ice on the opening combo, and if that's the case, she'll earn back 4-ish points of BV. There were a few nervy moments in the second half, but overall it was an admirable and brave skate to kick off our final flight.

This music is too grand for Maddie; she’s not living it and the interpretation is completely absent.

Honestly she seems to be a little bit of a B, maybe darker programs would be better suited as putting a sweet smile on her face juts seems fake.

Do you mean the shirt Amber has? I believe it says "Skate with Their Spirit" with illustrations of all the skaters who passed away in the DC plane crash

Haha, okay. With regard to Schindler's list, I just meant because she skates with a lot of feeling and expressiveness and seems able to bring out the nuances in a sensitive piece like that. It was meant only to be a compliment but I have no idea what kind of music she will or would skate to LOL

Amber is such a positive influence - her teammates always mention it. I would like her to turn that self love towards herself and skate something she loves that she can lose herself in and live her dreams.

I like the new program on her. It was a very quick change. It fits her personality and seems to make her happy - onward and upward with it for her.
