This program is so, so difficult. The speed and energy required, the transitions, the placements of the jumps - it is pushing Kaori physically and is so demanding. She was on fire tonight, and played off the crowd so well - such an incredible high-energy skate that only Kaori could do, she was fun, relaxed, and the jumps were incredible. This will be soooooo hard to beat - the audience was rising before she had finished her final spin. Just next-level skating.

Not my favourite program in Kaori's career* but this was stunning, everything went according to a plan and those last jumps on the beat made me gasp. There are still four ladies in front of us but she might win a title.


*it's very well choreographed though and Kaori can sell it
