I don't think so. Lilah and Lewis have lower levels today. One of the lifts was only a level 2.

Wow G/F are falling back to the crowd with those scores they may yet win a medal but they seem on a decline.

Outside of Boston they'd be clear of Ponomarenko and Carrier (if they skated like this), but they are now at big risk to Fear and Gibson, and some other teams at their best.

That was a really tight skate from Lilah and Lewis - an error on the curve lift, shallow turns, and messy twizzles. They are a fun team, but I think that the nerves of being in medal contention undid a lot of the technical improvements that they have being work hard on this season.

The ending was very strong from Fear/Gibson but there were shaky moments in the middle & some tightness

Lilah and Lewis really tried to lose their bronze and made a bunch of mistakes, but you can't fool with judges - if they want to give you a medal, they will no matter what.

I realize I am not an ice dance maven and my opinions are suspect because I do not acknowledge at all times and in all places the Artistic Supremacy of certain skaters.

But this is slow.

In person they are faster than the other teams. But their skating is very "effortlesss" and technically they keep good stability, so they appear slow on camera. Today their circular step felt slow, but everything else was pretty fast.

Having seen them in person over the past few years, I can confirm that they are effortlessly fast, faster than most other teams (perhaps only the Mrazeks are faster?).

They aren’t getting a medal here, but they should be ahead of the Italians.
