The 2025 BC/YT Section Super Series High Performance will be held from June 12 to 15, 2025 and will take place in Burnaby, British Columbia.

The competition is sanctioned by and held under the Rules of Skate Canada

Tasha Lai and Gabriel Liu on the entry list for Junior Dance . Nathan Feng and Hannah Li are a team, so I think Lai and Liu have teamed up. But the format doesn't confirm who the teams are.

Wesley withdrew (surgery), and Bellentani/Manis are no longer listed for Novice Pairs but are competing singles. Nguyen/Giang also withdrew.

I think they're running 15 minutes behind, Pre-Novice Men is on the second last skater. And I've now found out that there is a Back To The Future musical from watching them.

Devesh Sharma - moving up from Novice for this season, had a bad fall on his 3S-3T and popped his loop and axel I like him, it wasn't his jumping day He did crack up at his score of 30.87 though

David Li - Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran, he attempted a 3A and fell on it. Almost had a hand down on the 3Lz-3T, got the 3Lo. I don't think the 3A was fully around on the replay? 53.88

Louie Fukuda-Wu - he went for a 3Lz-3T, newish combo for him, fell on the 3T. 47.43

Christopher Manis - he had some good height on his combo, first to have no falls. 49.02

Also no David Howes in the short, he isn't in the start order. Connaught has him in their good luck post from yesterday, maybe he'll show up for the free skate?

Tehryn Lee - 3Lo didn't have a good axis, fell on it. 3S-2T. 54.25 and into first, he's shocked by that.

Nico Conforti - I'm happy for Masquerade Waltz, he puts some bounce into it. 3Lo step-out, 3Lz-2T. 50.39

Matthew Yu - also moving up from Novice. 3T-2T with a fall on the 2T, spin on the 3Lo landing. He skated to Sammy Davis Jr, it could be a fun program. 47.96

William Chan - Got the 3Lo, step out on the 3Lz-3T landing. He's backloading the 2A, so maybe not going back to his 3A attempts in the short yet. 61.20

Jake Willing-Sato - Another new Junior. 3T-3T, hand down/step-out on the 3Lo. 48.26

Onto the 90s with the rhythm dances.

Hannah Li/Nathan Feng - Spice Girls for them (Too Much and Stop). It felt like they were still thinking through it. 34.93

Tasha Lai/Gabriel Liu - Bon Jovi (Always and In These Arms). I think Gabriel could be a better match with Tasha than Audra Gans technically. 44.28

Watched the Junior Pairs Short

Wong/Conforti - attempted a 2Tw. Invalid death spiral, it was rough but they've got another year before the JGP.

Menard/Dunn - Fall on the 2A, ended before the music so had to awkwardly hold the ending pose

Cheung/Lee - Batman program, they would've been in first but they ended well after the music.

Skate BC/YT posted a picture on Instagram of all three teams with NextGen director Andre Bourgeois for monitoring, so I think that's a sign that they'll all be there

Ouch. I sprained my ankle nearly a month ago and it is still sore. Caught my flute case in the banister on my way downstairs, and it threw me off balance and down the stairs. Hope you heal faster than I have been.
