Amy - are you guys telling me she learned how to land a 3Lz this summer?
Wow!! Didn’t she win Challenge with a 170+ skate? She is close enough to perhaps score over 166. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see her nab a challenger event?

3Lz was underrotated but landed. It's getting there.

Uliana - Looks like 166 will be difficult for her this season.

It will be hard for Uliana to top 166 in this competition. I just do my math, she has now 48,68 points with the SP. (166-48,68 = 117,32)

She needs a good skate of 117,32 in the FS. If we put her the same range of PCS in the FS = (PCS in SP 24,41 x 2 = 48,82)

117,32 - 48,82 = 68,50 . She will needs a skate up to 68,50 in TES in the FS, she will need to be clean with no ur, no Q, no downgraded, with full level 4 to obtain her 166 points.

That will be difficult, but I'm rooting for her and hope that she do her best for the FS

Here I'm trying not to get too distracted by figuring out what's going with the TES tracker and how it's handling axel sequences now.

Cleaner than is the short for Yunzhu Yang. Painfully slow, though. Her doubles are pretty reliable, but she won't get out of sectionals without some triples.

Okay, axel sequences look to be working when it's the second jump or it's only one axel in the sequence. That 2Lz-2T-1A should be 4.5, not 2.72

Poor Felicitas. Four jumps falls and she fell out of a spin without actually falling down onto the ice. I wonder how much of that was the music issue having unsettled her.

It was difficult to watch. My heart was breaking for her.

Tough skate for Emily Lui too. I wonder whether she watched her team mate's struggle and then lost her nerve. She is wearing the same plain black as for the short. I hope that her costumes aren't ready yet, rather than her not being able to afford any. I don't mind the plain clothes, but skating is a tough sport for those from poorer families.
