2025 CS Cranberry Cup Senior Women Short Program

Isabeau Levito's jumps actually look less ugly, I genuinely applaud her for that, and while the practice outfit was very distracting the program is in her wheelhouse and she sells it well, but the choreo and overall vibes are basically version 2 of her Breakfast at Tiffany's SP

Go ahead, ask some judges (preferably not from a Russian satellite country) and commentators if they know who for example Sofia Dzepka or Lidia Pleskacheva is and what they know about them, and report back. Ideally in a setting where they can't look up the skater, otherwise it's a useless question.
I've never heard of either, that's for sure.

Isabeau into the lead. But I am not convinced. That Flip was very hunchback-y and no Lutz! Instead we got a UR Loop.
She needs to get those Flips and Lutzes done to be in top contention this season.

To be fair, this was better than I was expecting from Minchae after her issues last season. Not sure everything was rotated here, and the flying sit spin might not get credit, but I'll take this as a win. Hope that her back is feeling better now, though I guess it never goes back to how it was before.

Minchae is a lovely skater but I find her interpretation of La Boheme a bit flat for senior standards. It looked for me like she was skating to a different music in her mind.

TBH even I, deeply disinterested in russian FS, heard about them.
The women are my least favorite event....other than the ones I follow...and my Queen....I really could not name a single junior woman...but the junior men, that's a different story...pairs and even dance...

Where is that seat? I am across from the judges now. I will sit somewhere else for men's. It's fun to change seats.
It's across from the judges, directly across, front row. I was thrilled to sit in it. The one right next to it is her daughters. Hope you get to visit the Richard D Button Trophy Room while there!
