Everything went so well, and then the spin, sh*t. Well done to try and make the best of it. I'd like a little more flow on some landings, but she's a gem.

It will be a tough battle between her and Diana (at the very least) for the Jr worlds spot this season.

I'm really pleased with Alice Smith's skate. 9th place and ahead of both Sherry Zhang and Noemi Joos. If you had told me beforehand that Alice would place top 10 in the SP, I wouldn't have believed you!!

Not trying to hype her up too much, after all, this is going to be her first Junior season, but another young German skater, Diana Ziesecke was mighty impressive at Test Skates. They'll probably be better than the Senior women, even with some new skaters moving up now.

Yeah, a pity about the mistake on the spin but Gerke was very good overall and I was impressed by how she was able to match the powerful music with her skating. Rare in juniors.
