Very pretty, Jiyu!

I really like how Jiyu settled into this program. She got calmer and hit her groove as the program went on. Lovely style and presence to match her power and strength.

That was lovely. Jiyu reminds me of Jia Shin in her firts junior season. She has such a nice flow, nothing looks forced. One popped lutz but should go to the lead easily.

Well, one pop, but that should be enough to stay ahead overall. Luckily, she does have two assignments, so it's not another situation in which a Korean skater medals and then doesn't get the chance to try and compete for the JGPF spots.

Jiyu seems to have a neckline of laburnum flowers; whatever they are, they are pretty. That popped lutz didn't happen, everything else was so beautiful. I appreciated that brief spiral into the 3Lo, with the twizzles afterwards before the flying camel. I also enjoyed the little relevé on her heel in the flying ch combo spin. The falling leaf in her choreo spin was timed well with the music, and I loved the change of edge in her Ina Bauer. She's had a great JGP debut.

Love Mei's power and attack to this music. She demonstrates the strength of the story's main character while not losing her concentration on the technical elements. Oh she blew a tire on the camel spin - a rut possibly?

Clean Mei! Just one mistake on the spin. Great performance, senior-like maturity. Great skating skills, she has so mcuh flow she makes me worried how closed to the boards she gets. Should win if tech panel won't find to many carrots.

A few small errors, but overall a very good skate. Very likely the gold medal here.

(And my 20 points in the prediction contest, which might be my worst women's result so far...)

A great skate under pressure for Mei! I love the opening, with the unique poses and movement. Her arms are so beautiful throughout, particularly during the Ina Bauer. She expresses the music well, from the dramatic start to the gentler mid-section. Her layback spin at the end is gorgeous.
