Great skate by Nayeon, but maybe not her best. I thought she killed the program until it started killing her back. But not bad at all

Not quite what Nayeon wanted, but an enjoyable skate. She's very efficient and fast across the ice, and makes her jumps look easy (unexpected fall in the combination aside). Beautiful layback spin, with a bit of travel, and a good ch combo spin to finish, after a level 4 step sequence. Just wants a little sharpness in the tango choreography at the start. Wonder if she can make up that scoring gap in the free, that seems further back than I had expected.

Yihan gets off to a good start with the 3Lz-3T, scrappy axel landing but hangs on to it. She's a good spinner, extremely fast rotation at the start of the ch combo spin and throughout her layback, and her twizzles are pretty quick too.

That is a very fast spin to end with. Am I misremembering (again!) or was this the fierce little miss from last year? She seems to have a had a growth spurt and is in an adjustment phase.

That was nice skate from Yihan, Her team is trying to push her with a new style to learn her how to express music and emotions. She's still not there trying to figure it out but I appreciate her effort cause it's very visible she's working hard on that part.
