I’m back to finding Pate and Bye not compelling again. It was well skated - but they just give me nothing, whereas yesterday with their RD, eventhough it’s not their style, I found them to at least be interesting. I find Igor’s teams so frustrating cause the choreo is never innovative (apart from the somersault lift which was cool)

I am so inspired by Marie-Jade & Romain's response to the disappointment of last year. They did the work, reinvented themselves and improved their technique to match their already creative programs. Love to watch them! Great to see them make new fans everywhere.

Yes it was I blame it on the sleep deprevation, and Andy Lau has gorgeous eyes also but the doe eyes I will forever love are Tony Leung's

everyone has their opinions - I am happy not to see cookie-cutter judging
eventually a consensus forms and placement changes depending on how well they skate
judging also changes as teams make changes to their programs based on judging feedback and state of health

I think Marie-Jade and Roman have en edge over Alicia and Paul so far this season. Their material plays more for their strenght while F/A have unispiring programs. Good for them, looks like they can get that spot.
